Sowing Seeds
G’s Sowing Seeds Project is an in-school growing project to teach children where food comes from and how the produce we grow can contribute to a healthy diet.
We recognise the importance of career-based learning, and the information we provide is designed to touch on various roles within the food and farming industry. We aim to challenge stereotypes, broaden horizons, and encourage many young people to enter the industry in years to come.
We provide plans and seeds, worksheets and videos and can even arrange to visit your school. Find out more below:
Worksheets & Downloads
We have created a number of worksheets to help support the learning. Additional resources can also be found on the Countryside Classroom website www.countrysideclassroom.com

As well as the resources above we provide schools and community groups with lettuce or celery plants for children to plant and grow, either in school gardens or to take home.
Or if you would like one of our Farm Managers to come to site and spend time talking to the children about growing crops and working for a company like G’s please let us know. We will facilitate as many visits as we can.
